Today, with a fleet of over 50 cranes, Global Cranes is a leading provider of general crane services in the region that extends from the Queensland / New South Wales border to the Sunshine Coast and in Nebo, Queensland.

We first opened our doors for business in September 2005 when we took delivery of our first Franna crane – four more Frannas were soon to follow.

Recognising that the planned infrastructure works for Brisbane City would place increased demand on our services, in March 2006 we purchased an established crane hire company – Millers Cranes and Transport (formerly known as Northside Crane Hire). Soon after we secured our first major civil works contract – the North South Bypass Tunnel Project – a project Global Cranes is still part of today.

In November 2008, we purchased Nebo Cranes – a company that was established in June 2006 in Nebo to provide crane hire services to the mining and construction industry in Nebo and the Bowen Basin coal fields.

Our fleet is now as diverse as our customer base and the many major contracts we hold. We deliver Rough Terrain cranes ranging from 45T, up to 120T. All Terrain cranes ranging from 10T – 220T, We can provide service with Frannas and Crawlers to clients in the construction, civil works and heavy lifting industries.
